Charger Loaded Batch Furnaces
No 3 Furnace: Fired by 8 off 10 therm burners Maximum operating temperature 1275ÂșC with a 10 tonne capacity. Load dimensions 2400 wide, 1500 high, and 5000 long. Higher temperature specializing in solution annealing of ni/chrome alloys to Norsok approval. Example; duplex and super duplex materials.
No 2 Furnace: Fired by 8 off 5 therm burners. Maximum operating temperature 1175ÂșC with a 10 tonne capacity. Load dimensions 2400 wide, 1500 high, and 5000 long. Specializing in water quench and temper of API 5L upgrading to X60/X65/X70 induction bends and pipeline. Normalizing. Water Quench and Temper of forgings AISI 4130 /AISI 8630 and 8630M/ ASTM A182 F22 to meet the popular demands of the oil and gas industry.
No 1 Furnace: Fired by 8 off 5 therm burners. Maximum operating temperature 1175ÂșC 10 tonne capacity. Load dimensions2400 wide, 1500 high and 5000 long.
Top Hat Furnace
No 8 Furnace: Fired by 10 therm burners. Maximum operating temperature 1050ÂșC with a 15 tonne capacity. Load dimensions 6500 x 3500 x 1500. Specializing in post weld and post machine stress relieve of large components. All furnaces to be surveyed annually in accordance with the API 6A appendix H. All furnace instruments to be calibrated quarterly.
Water Quench Tank
Water quenching dimensions; 2.4 MTRS x 1.5 MTRS x 5.0 MTRS. Water agitated by 4 off 22 kw pumps with closed loop cooling system. Water temperature maintained between 15ÂșC and 30ÂșC at all times. Quench transfer timeâs; 45 seconds maximum, 25 seconds minimum.
Material Hardness Testing Equipment
2 Calibrated Foundrax Portable King Brinell to HBW 10/3000 Hardness readings recorded on a Foundrax Brintronic laptop.
