Ritver offers a wide range of solvent-based Nitro Wood Stains, formulated from special binders and dispersed in suitable solvents to enhance their natural coloristic effects. These stains can be mixed with various solvent-based products, including nitro, polyurethane, enamel, and acrylic coatings, providing versatile application options.The product has a viscosity of 12 seconds (±1) at 25°C, a specific gravity of 0.92 Kg/L (±0.025), weight solids of approximately 5% (±1), and a flash point of 21°C. It is available in 19 different colors, allowing for a wide spectrum of aesthetic finishes.Application: Nitro Wood Stains are ideally suited for all types of new and old wood that has been properly cleaned and sanded. All timber must be fully aged with a moisture content below 15%, and surfaces should be dry, clean, and free from contaminants. Natural oils or gum should be removed using appropriate solvents.To achieve the optimum finish, sand the wood thoroughly in the direction of the grain using sanding paper no. 120. For perfect filling of the wood grain, sanding between coats may be carried out depending on the desired coverage, and dust should be removed before applying subsequent coats.
